We believe in the power of young women.
.
A spark–to think, learn, try, and do. It lies within each NCS student and is ignited by her teachers, peers, community, and herself. Our highly intentional and relational program provides an environment where students develop not only critical skills, but also an understanding of themselves and how they want to apply their newfound skills to make an impact on the world around them. NCS graduates often credit NCS as their single-most transformational educational experience.

NCS is an independent Episcopal girls school for grades 4-12 located next to the National Cathedral in the heart of D.C. Our expert and deeply caring faculty serve as both supportive guides and role models of our core values of excellence, service, courage, and conscience, empowering students as they reach their full potential.
