Natasha Crawford joined NCS in 2014 from Phillips Exeter Academy in Exeter, N.H., where she returns each summer for the Greer Conference on Mathematics and Technology for Educators. A graduate of the all-girls Chapin School in New York City, Ms. Crawford has been an instructor with Teachers Across Borders-Southern Africa and the guest speaker for the North East Asia Mathematics Competition. She is also a trained psychotherapist.

Patty Howie joined NCS in 1997 and has taught Upper and Middle School math classes, in addition to being a department chair. She previously taught in Dearborn, Mich., and Baltimore and worked at insurance and consulting companies. Ms. Howie was a "lifer" at an all-girls school in the New York suburbs, and she holds degrees from Mount Holyoke College and the University of Michigan and a certification from Johns Hopkins University. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, watching baseball games, swimming, and visiting her adult sons.
