JV Softball Starts Out Strong

JV Softball put together a complete team, 10-7 victory over Holton-Arms, with good pitching, hitting, base running, and defense.  Alba Cordover '18 pitched four innings for the win, and Alexa Perlmutter '17 pitched the fifth for the save. Many players contributed hits, including Lauryn Barnes '17, Inna Tintchev '18, with two hits, and Caroline Schuermann '18. Nearly every player had a stolen base, including Emma Greenfield '16. The defense was solid when it needed to be. Lauryn Barnes had an assist and a put out in the 1-2-3 fourth inning. Emmy Perry '17 had a great game behind the plate, ending the game with a spectacular catch of a pop foul.
