Sixth Grade Scientists Collect and Analyze Plant Data

Grade 6 students in Kat Wesley’s Science class tracked the growth rate of Wisconsin Fast Plants, some planted in sandy soil and some planted in regular loamy soil. Over a 14-day period, they observed plant growth, graphed height data over time, and prepared to present their findings along with an error analysis.
