Alumna Reflects on Courage at the 125th Anniversary Cathedral Service

McKenna Dunbar ’19 returned to the Close to deliver a powerful homily on NCS’s core value of courage, as part of NCS’s 125th anniversary celebration. Dunbar, a national leader in environmental policy and an advocate for equitable clean energy, discussed elements of courage, explaining that resilience is survival and that hope is like oxygen. At the service, Dunbar’s classmate, Julia Angelov ’19, fresh from her debut at Carnegie Hall, played a beautiful Bach violin piece. Another classmate, Sophie Searby ‘19, NCS’s Manager of Alumnae Engagement & Annual Giving, recited the school prayer. Veronica Merril ‘17 introduced McKenna Dunbar. Watch the full services here.
