Dr. Scully Provides Update on State of the School

In late April, Head of School Elinor M. Scully delivered her State of the School remarks to a host of parents/guardians, both in Hearst Auditorium and online. Her presentation, recorded here, covered how NCS prioritizes resilience and anti-fragility in providing appropriate challenges to students. She addressed issues including the importance of critical thinking, the new schedule, the Advanced Studies program roll-out, and the appropriate use of generative AI. Her presentation also provided an update on the Strategic Framework, first announced at the Oct. 17 community event celebrating NCS’s 125th anniversary.
