Middle School Students Present Wyrd Sisters

NCS and STA Middle School students entertained audiences with two performances of Wyrd Sisters. From Terry Pratchett's Discworld series, Wyrd Sisters is a fun, comedic, fantasy story that is based loosely on William Shakespeare’s Macbeth. When the kind-hearted King Verence is murdered by his villainous cousin and the Duke and Duchess ascend to the throne, the three witches (or "wyrd sisters") step in and save the prince. Years go by, and the kingdom starts to fall into disarray under the evil rulers, so a mission is taken to return the rightful prince to the throne. This light-hearted, Shakespearean parody was so enjoyable for all who watched or took part in it.
