Environmental Science Students Learn about Sustainable Agriculture
AP Environmental Science students took a trip to an organic vegetable farm in Brookeville, Maryland, to see sustainable agricultural practices at work. The group learned how low till farming, cover cropping, and the use of leaf mulch help maintain soil biodiversity and prevent erosion.
