Lower School Jumps into March Readathon

Lower School students and faculty set an ambitious reading goal over Spring Break: a total of 160,000 pages! Students have asked their family and friends for pledge donations that, if their reading goal was met, would benefit Everybody Wins DC. To kick off the Readathon, the division held a dress as your favorite book character day. Ben Franklin and The Lorax were among those who made an appearance! The students exceeded their goal by reading a total of 186,017 pages in March. Grade 5 read the highest number of pages, reading a total of 79,617 pages. Grade 6 read 61,089 pages, and Grade 4 read 45,317 pages. Congratulations to the Lower School students for this great achievement!
