Class of 2025 Earns National Merit Honors

More than a quarter of NCS’s 82 seniors received National Merit Scholarship recognition. Three students, Melina K., Kelsea P., and Julia W. were named Semifinalists. This honor establishes the three as among the top 1 percent of U.S. high school seniors who took last fall’s Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT). The PSAT is taken annually by about 1.6 million high school juniors.

The three semifinalists are now eligible to apply for consideration as National Merit Finalists and to compete for National Merit Scholarships.

An additional 19 members of the class performed strongly on the PSAT and were named Commended Scholars:
