Exchange Students from the UK Dive into Life at NCS and in DC

From April 8-17, our Global Education Program within the Center for Ethical Leadership and Service (CELS) coordinated a visit from 16 students, who each stayed with an NCS family, and two teachers from St. Paul's Girls' School in London. In addition to attending classes and the annual Diversity Forum, the English visitors toured the U.S. Capitol and took in a performance of 1776 at Ford’s Theater. In June, 19 students from the Classes of 2028 and 2029 will travel to London to stay with their host "sisters," explore London, and participate in a seminar with representatives from the Rose Castle Foundation. The Foundation is dedicated to fostering sustainable peace and training leaders in conflict resolution.
