NCS Ties ISL Rivals 1-1

The NCS Eagles fought long and hard and came up with a tie against the Visitation Cubs. The first half found the Eagles in control with many opportunities but the team was not able to capitalize. Ten minutes into the second half, the Cubs got on the scoreboard on their best chance of the game. The tides shifted a bit after the goal and the Eagles pushed forward and created some great opportunities. In the 75^th minute, Rubii Tamen ’15 took the ball, rushed forward and put her first goal in the back of the net to tie the game 1-1. The Eagles battled late in the second half and overtime, but were unable to score in the last 15 minutes of the game.
