Middle School Musicians Deliver Beautiful Performances
Students in Grades 7 and 8 performed seasonal music at their Winter Concert in the Cathedral. Highlights included Largo from Dvořák's "New World Symphony, No. 9," with a stunning orchestral arrangement by Scott Wood, Director of Instrumental Music & Music Department Chair. The Chorus performed "Dance Upon the Moon" and "Carol of the Bells." Along with the STA Form I/II choir, the students offered “White Winter Hymnal,” as sung by Pentatonix; “Sing We Now of Christmas,” a 14th Century carol; and “Gloria from Three Latin Settings” by Jerry Estes.
