NCS Wins Season Opener

The NCS Eagles started the season with a 4-2 win over a very talented Bishop Ireton team. The team went down 1-0 on a corner kick 10 minutes into the game but they wouldn't stay out of the competition for long. Marta Sniezek '15 put the Eagles on the board around the 20 minute mark to tie the game up at 1-1. The first half was back and forth and the game remained tied going into halftime. Ireton put themselves ahead again 17 minutes into the half, but the Eagles rebounded with a goal by Isabella Small '15 on an assist from Vanessa Moore '15. The team wasn't ready to let the game get away and Marta Sniezek put two more goals away, for her first hat trick of the season on assists from Tessa Porter '16 and Hazel Horvath '16.
